I grind my own feed for hogs. I usually use base mix, a bale of alfalfa, and the balance in corn. I planted 40 acres of milo this year with the intention of putting a portion of the grain as corn and a portion as milo. I will figure ratios later.
We ground milo growing up and used the same screen as everything else. I don't want to make it dust, though. Anyone use milo as ground feed? Should I run it through without the screen in it throttled down? I use a JD 400 grinder.
