Well with all the recent rain I got to finish and paint the forks up. I have to say they turned out better than I thought they would. While cleaning the forks up I found a cast date in the forks of F 1 36 witch sounds about right as I once saw a picture of the fork lift these came off of that was taken in the early 40s. I hid the way to take the fork shaft out, Take 2 bolts out and pull the cover off and pull the shaft and the forks come off to move them in closer than 24" apart, They will go out to 47" and down to 24" the way they are now so that's ware they will say 99% of the time. They do work good I have to say. Maybe I will build a firewood processer next? I am getting new ideas! We will see. Bandit
