I have repaired similar leaks by draining the oil and giving plenty of time (overnight) for it to drain off the walls then cleaning the exterior area thoroughly with degreaser and water blow out good with air then following up with brakeclean or electra clean to remove the excess moisture. Then used regular super glue in the crack, let it have time to work its way in the crack and dry enough to put another coat and another until the crack was full of super glue. let the glue dry a good 12 hours or so to be sure it is cured then use an oil resistant hi temp silicon sealent over the glue, let that dry then fill with oil and try it out. The repair medium has to be little flexible due to there is some movement between the two housings.
