And so, your friends, and you, have been fed a lie, by several people with no scruples, wishing to make a buck off of selling unfounded fears.
I don't fault you, and I don't mean any disrespect.
But.
If your friend, and you, and others in this thread repeat this lie over and over, and people keep repeating it.....
Then how much does that set back science in this country?
How much does it set back farmers, good hard working, honest farmers?
How much money does it make for other liars, scammers, people wishing to make a quick buck without working for it?
Your comments make me sad, more than anything. That we have become that far removed from farming, that far removed from a good education, that such lies are allowed to travel around and multiply.
Now you can be for or against gmos either way is just fine.
But when you say the gmos in wheat cause your friends son to have an allergy... That is so very very wrong for so very many reasons.
That is sad.
You have made a connection in your brain, a reflex, that is connecting about 10 different lies you have heard, and you have a conclusion that fails on all 10 items....
But the lies have been repeated by the swindlers so often.....
Well, it is just a real sad thing. Your words are so disappointing.
It's not your fault, tho it would be nice if 'informed consumers' would actually check out the lies and wrong information they were being fed.
