OK farm boys.....When we were kids we had hogs and hogs bring rats. The rats would make tunnels under the concrete. So we took a piece of 3/8 copper tubing on the end of a hose attached to the ammonia applicator tank. It worked real good. Turn the hose on and step back and wait for the choking little guys to come out. They were stumbling, not running so it was easy to step on them. It should work good for a chuck as well.
