Distracted driving is distracted driving. If talking on the phone causes you to swerve over the center line or run stop signs then it is distracted driving. If you are on the phone and not swerving or running lights then it is obviously not a distraction. Driving while tired or daydreaming or yelling at your kids on the backseat are just as dangerous as any other distraction (and I'm guilty of all of them at one time or another). If it is the danger of bad driving how many of you are in favor of putting an age limit on drivers licenses?,say maybe no licenses for anyone over 75 years old. I think we can all agree that it really depends on the abilities of the driver not a one size fits all approach.
