How is it "Hypocrisy" for me to not be happy to be paying for someone else's health care????
I am not taking any form of Government hand out and never have. Whatever I have or don't have has been EARNED not inherited or TAKEN from someone else.
This "free" health care is just another government handout.
There is always going to be more demand than supply for something you do not pay for yourself. There will be rationing of some sort in any system.
Under the system we had the care was rationed by the ability to pay for the care or paying for insurance that provided the care.
The system they are enacting will ration it by some government rule/bureaucrat. It will be much like the current VA system. THAT scares the living daylights out of me.
In a short time there will be stories of people DIEING because of some bureaucrat's decision an you will have almost no way to know who or why it happened in a timely manner.
You do not hear of people flying to some country that has FREE health care for high quality treatment.
This "new" system will make us all have crappy health care.
Also GREG don't lecture me on the cost of health care. I buried a wife that died from a long battle with cancer. My current wife is battling the effects of sever diabetes. EVERY single penny of the cost of that health care has been PAID for privately.
