The '43 john deere B Project's really picking up steam now.
We're well past demolition mode, and into rebuild mode. I thought it might be helpful to others in the future to make some videos of various tasks as we complete them, and post them on youtube. Not much out there other than people starting their tractors. I'll post here as we put them up.
On another note - I have had a few people here offer donations of money to the project, I always turn them down.
I'm very appreciative of the offers, but it's not in my nature to ask for help. A pride thing I guess.
But I have recently taken some generous donations of parts, and after talking with those individuals it taught me something new - that perhaps my turning donations down is actually a selfish act.
There are others out there that truly enjoy helping and would like to be involved in a project like this in some way. Giving isn't always the burden I assume it is. And this really is a special project.
So - it's still with mixed feelings I post this link (if you couldn't tell by my over-explaining it) - but I will anyways. The kids came up with this idea to help raise money. If you'd like to make a small donation you can here (securely).
Maybe share the link with others you may know.
I figure I'd rather raise the money with many $1.00 donations instead of a few large ones. So every little bit helps.

I have been restoring old Farm Tractors for the past 6 years, and have found it easier and less expensive to hit all the auctions and purchase whole tractors for parts needed. My wife who works at a local school, and only has weekends and summers off, while on t
