Thx... and how come my dropbox links dont work normal here... or is that just me being a newbie??
I'd like to find another Bolens but they are hard to come by here, I got that one about 25yrs ago, wasnt completely stock then and its even more modified now... but its still a 'working' tractor, certainly never had it easy last winter.
I expect I will need to rebuild a motor so thx for the links, I'll be looking into those in just a minute. I grew up in the back of Pops dealership in the late 60s so tearing down a motor isnt a new thing to me... more of a hobby to get me out of the house.
So anyway.. Im thinkin I want a small Cockshutt, and if Im correct the 1950s model 40 had pto as standard equipment, optional on a 35.... dont know about the 20 or 30, and I really prefer the all red with yellow highlight paint scheme. It will get fairly light duty use, pull a mower, snowblade, maybe a small fel, kind of a handi hobby toy. Right now I have an early 80s International w/fel, 53hp, hydro, bit too big for a lawn mower;)
