I would say as much horsepower as those new big tractors are putting out it will take that much more foot print to put it to the ground. A 150hp 2wd will break loose with duals, so if this one is putting out 500hp, no doubt it takes more tire to hook up. Around here most use wide tired dual metrics, and others use triples that still straddle the rows, this one looks like it would still keep the tires between the rows while pulling the planter. I keep thinking the combines and tractors are at there limit of how big they can become, but every year the limit keeps getting passed.
