If you're capping tires there are two rules. Use your own, known good casings... and use a BANDAG cap. Then keep them properly inflated. Doing that, I've never had a problem with a cap. At the same time... for the miles I drive and the age that the casings get before the tread is worn down... I find it just as effective to pay the extra hundred or so and buy a new Aeolus drive trac deep and be done of it.
