A few years ago we had a local mower shop that was a service dealer. They did not sell J.D. equipment but rather serviced residential mowers that were sold at one of the box stores. They were listed on the J.D. parts web site right along side of the full service dealer and their prices were always lower than the big dealer.
Now that the big dealer has 7 locations I guess the little dealer was muscled out because they are no longer listed as a J.D. parts dealer.
