They are crazy growing birds. I've tried to keep them until they dress out about 10 lbs as that makes a great roasting chicken. Problem is I've had some just up a die before getting them butchered. I didn't get any this year. Been such a cold spring and birds show up at places around here in early April. They've got to get pretty big before they can come out of the brooder when its as cold as it has been.I like you plucker.
