Is the end plug on my steering cylinder threaded? I am thinking not but wanted to see if anyone could answer a quick question. The snap ring on the end is really pinched in there and I wondered if I could tap in or thread in the plug to create a little space to get the ring out.
I put a punch through the hole and got the end of the ring up and out, but the rest of it is really stuck.
