Dave, I have 4 rows that are 35ft long each. I put on 40 pounds of rock salt a year per row. 20 pounds in the spring and 20 pounds in the fall. I fertilize in Late February early March. In the fall I spread the salt then set my tiller shallow and till it in. Same with the salt and fertilizer in the spring if the ground is tillable that time of the year. Yes the salt does work and it's cheaper than herbicides.
