One of the guys I used to work with, lived in the sticks in a house on a weak well. The well was uphill from the house, so He took one of those tanks and mounted it on a pedestal about 4ft off the ground. That put the bottom at about roof level in the house. He fed the tank from the well with a 1/4" pipe on a float switch to keep the flow low. He put a booster pump between the tank and house. The nice thing was, if the power went out, he had 300+ gallons of water. Tim in OR
