Sounds like the swather is set for 1000 PTO RPM. 1000 PTO"s are meant for HP"s over 75 PTO. The 1135 might have an interchangeable shaft; but if so... the swather should have a 21 spline PTO shaft. If the tractor PTO is hydraulic driven; then it might be a hydraulic problem! I was loaned an 1135 20 years ago with 1000 PTO. I replaced the 6 spline with a 21 spline PTO on my bushhog & ran the tractor at around 55 - 60% engine RPM"s till the dealer rebuilt the engine on my JD 4430. The 1135 is really good tractor normally.
