Yes, she is by far the best dog I have ever had (And I have had a LOT growing up). And as far as the drooling, she only is bad after she eats or drinks (or if you have a bowl of ice cream - she loves to lick the bowl).
I am pretty stuck on the breed, when she goes it will be a tough time, but I foresee getting another French Mastiff.
I actually brought her to a friend's bonfire last weekend and everyone asked me how I trained her so well.. My response was "I taught her to sit and shake.. She did the rest on her own." Actually, she is snoring away on the couch right next to me as I type.
