I understand that this slogan has absolutely nothing to do with the way the tractors run.....Instead it referred to Old John Deere himself running away from bankruptcy?????? Can anyone confirm if this story is true? I did not know that they used John Deere scrap to make other tractors? In fact I did not know, until now, that there was such a thing as John Deere scrap!!!!
