After last year I will never worry. Seems all those who took prevented planting last year after June 1 may have missed out on some of the best crop ever. Normally that May 1-10th time frame is considered prime in this area. Last year we planted corn from May 25th to June 10th. The best was planted on June 6th. averaged 275bu/ac Although wet and low test weight that was the dry yield. Decided from now on plant when the ground is ready not when the neighbors are out mudding it in.
