Think there are a lot of us caught in a bind with weather conditions this year. Just finished planting my oats/alfalfa Thursday, and fertilizing (broadcast) on oats Saturday. And it wasn"t pretty. Will be a awfully rough hayfield next year. Will probably try to cultipack it next spring soon as the frost goes out. Should have put the duals back on when I drilled - but in a hurry... Probably should have waited fo it to dry out a bunch more.
Not seeing a lot of tillage and planting going on yet. Cold spring and many rainy spells. If this ever breaks the corn, soys, and potatoes gonna fly into the ground!
