I think that is a lot of tractor to take on spec and he is asking a good bit of money for it under the circumstances. I paid a lot more than that for my 1586 but it starts and runs like a new tractor. As for hauling? Easy enough on a Loboy trailer. I paid just a tick over $300 to have it brought down from mid-Michigan. It was about 120-130 miles. Good tractors. If you have been sitting on an open station like a Farmall M it will take some getting used to. I drove mine across country yesterday 20 miles pulling an 8 row planter on end transport. AC, flotation seat, radio...pretty nice.
