My family rebuilds/repairs engines for a living, and my thought was:

Hmmmm, if you could buy it for $3500 ish, then get it running and find out what it needs. You could probably fix up/repair anything in that engine and get it back to top performance for about another $1500-2000. SO when it is said and done, is a good running/working IH 1586 worth $6000?? I think so, especially if it has a rebuilt engine!!!
