thank you for your response the oil line on the head very well may be the problem. I was not there on the start of disassemble the engine this would explain the # 5 rocker shaft tower not drilled to an oil galley and # 1 rocker tower has a drain that drops oil into lifter area.
#3 cam brg was installed backwards and i have r&r engine made the guy who installed the brgs install a new one properly but now if i dint see the exterior line i would have plugged it off if the line was missing. And the owner had re plumed the oil pressure gauge used a new tee that never went anywhere and was not necessary until now. exactly where is the oil passage in the head i will hook up the supply line.
