I have a 2 year old colt not spent much time with , maybe lead him 3-4 times been in trailer twice, once to get castrated . Yesterday loaded him in morning drove to Southern Iowa to Amish friends place. Unloaded out of trailer brushed him down put collar on, then friend says well let's see what he'll do with the team. We hooked him up 3 abreast went up and down driveway didn't do bad so we hooked to cultimulcher drug it across driveway to the field he didn't blow, jump nothing just walked right along with team even stopped when we said whoa. This colt is from my mare and their stud 16-17 hands Amish friend said he won't be bad to break, now he'll stay there till Nov then go back next spring after 2-3 years of being Amish you end up with a team that has done it all, and is dependable to use
