We bought a late 1990's White 6175 tractor with the 8.3 Cummins engine last winter. It has 2800 hours. After sitting for 2 months in Illinois weather, it would not start this spring. The fuel injector pump was taken off by dealership and taken to a reliable business that rebuilds engine components. They did not find anything wrong with it and when the dealership put it back on the tractor, it started. Seemed to run okay, but when taken to the field pulling a 22 ft field cultivator, only had enough horsepower to pull the field cultivator 3 1/2 mph 3 inches deep. Why is there a lack of horsepower? Mechanic from dealership drove the tractor a couple of rounds and it has him baffled also. Any ideas on what the problem is would be appreciated. Thanks.
