Wow, first time you've reared you head as a jerk John. Read exactly what I wrote. The Federal DOT guys who only enforce the FMCSR laws don't have a thing to do with State V+T laws. The FMCSR has nothing to do with non-CMVs, ie- "DOT" wouldn't be taking a look at this anymore than OSHA would. Then read the last sentence.
