: I AM TRYING TO RESTORE THIS MACHINE BUT AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING TECHNICAL PAPERWORK ON THE FRONT LOADER AND THE HYDRAULIC PUMP CONNECTION TO THE FRONT END OF THE CRANKSHAFT I HAVE AN ENGINE KNOCK WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING EXCEPT WHEN THE LOADER IS IN OPERATION, DON'T WANT TO TEAR DOWN UNTIL I KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. ANY HELP WOULD APPRECIATED Frank, I have a 800 ford which went into production right after the Jubilee. My tractor has the front end loader on it with a Sherman backhoe. I have the original service manual on this tractor and believe it covers the front loader as it shows a picture of the tractor with the loader attached. I believe these two tractors are basically set up the same on the loader and pump. I will be glad to make copies of the pages pertaining to the loader and mail them to you. I will be going to my farm this weekend and will look and see what the manual covers. Do you know where I can get information on the Sherman backhoe? I posted a message asking for information on it this morning. Gary
