this might not be the best place to ask this question but since it is a hydraulic issue i figured i might as well see what responses i get. im trouble shooting the leveling blade on the front of a cat cp433e compactor. the blade is slow to raise at first and when the oil is warm wont go up at all when its running at a low idle. high idle it works fine. took the valves apart and found nothing there. put in 2 new pressure relief valves in. the steering works fine and uses the same pump but there is a priority valve that divides the outlet of the pump between the 2. there is only 875-900 psi at the cylinder. no visual leaks. over 2000psi at the steering side of the priority valve (the only side with the test port). could a week pump cause this? also if you steer and try to raise the blade it will work.
