last year was the first our neighbor got more sweet corn than the coons. our golden retriever chow mix would patrol Le Roy's corn patch one day Le Roy came over and was telling me I haven't had any coons in my sweet corn this year. my dog was sitting next to me and i pointed to him Le Roy said you think that's why the coons are staying away I said he is down there every chance he gets he hates coons and will kill them if he gets a hold of one. I think the coons get his scent and stay away
