I used a jack and a piece of 3/4 inch or so roundstock and jacked up from the bottom pushing out sleeve and all, a couple i had to wrap a nylon ratchet strap from frame under block of wood i was jacking from and back to frame on same side and done same on opposite side otherwise kept lifting front tires off ground. Done same way to remove worn liners on an H that pistons were free on just put pistons in and put some ugly gobs of weld around liner just above piston to hold piston from pushing out of liner came out real easy, we were putting in new pistons and liners anyway.
