I don't have a horror story to tell but my company's health care plan was already ACA <spit> compliant and our premium didn't go up much. We are big enought this it is a self insured plan with an administrator handling claims. We are being forced into a high deductible plan, two are being offered... high and higher. The company is kicking in some to the personal savings account and the amount I'm saving over the old low deductible plan is going into the account as well, so there is something there when expenses come due (like is coming soon). Finally convinced the wife to switch to the high deductible and get some savings built up while she is not having any issues, before we are forced into it next year.
I hate what this legislation has done to the health insurance market and the effect it has had on individuals and business, and the careless attitude of those that put it in place. When you go to the voting booth I hope you remember who did this to us... I certainly won't forget!
