Most likely it's trash under the needle valve. Be sure the sediment bowl and screen are clean.
Sometimes you can flush out whatever is in the needle valve by turning the gas off and running the engine until it dies. Then turn the gas back on and see if the drip stops.
If it doesn't you'll need to open up the carb and see what's wrong. Could be a bad needle and seat, sunk float, or float level too high.
If you're careful you can usually ease it apart with out tearing the gasket, clean it up, check it out and put it back without having to buy a kit.
