Dalex, you made NO mention of a Ford 390 in your post, and I don't see one elsewhere in this thread.
You posted a comment about hydraulic valve lifters in a thread about a machine that does not use them. I posted a simple clarification, and there's no need to be offended or snippy.
Sometime down the road someone with similar problems will find this post in the archives and will benefit from not having to try to chase down a bad hydraulic lifter as the cause of his classic IH tractor bending a pushrod.
