Was that a rotator cuff or similar ?, you've probably heard it a dozen times to follow the doctors orders, but its tempting to not, you'll fare much better once enough time passes and you abide by what they tell you. No one likes being on the bench, me included LOL hope it heals up well for you soon !
I had surgery on my foot and leg 2 years back and its taken that long to realize the good work those doctors and surgeons did, does take some time to heal, of course with the rehab if you will be doing that, its more difficult for awhile, and beyond, but seems to be worth it once enough time passes for these kinds of problems, I sure am grateful, don't think I could have tolerated what was going on for much longer and it had been going on a few years.
