Hey tractor vet, I was there in 1966.We were getting fired at from a supposedly friendly village.The captain knew he had to get permission to fire back, but after 5 of my friends getting wounded, the captain said. F-CK THEM , and we opened up on them.I think we killed about 10 of them. Come to find out the village was all viet cong, we found no friendly forces.We did not loose the war, the government did.
