Up until a couple of years ago we ran JD 15/40 oil in our 15 diesel engines on our irrigation wells. 8 Izuzu and 7 JD units. Most of them have 7000 to 8000 hours on them and most used about 1 gallon every two or three days. We switched to Delvac 15/40 and all but 2 use about a gallon or less in a week and one half and the other two use a gallon in 5 to 6 days. Made a big difference for us.
