i have one of those old 2010 id and that tractor start runs good it does have one problem the power steering housing has a crack in it but i have a 2010 utility that has same unit in it so it going to get replaced and you can get most all parts through the age dealer and the parts brake down on line well help you with the brakes. the service manual your looking for is jd 2000 series tractors SM-2036 brake wont be any problem to fix well they weren't all that great when new
