You're thinking of hybrids. Completely different than GMO. It's simply selective breeding, the same thing as cross breeding cattle. I have absolutely nothing against hybrids. It was something that was made to happen. It's natural for any two corn varieties to cross. They are simply selective about it. Evolution on the other hand is closer to GMO. Difference is that evolution is natural and can be picky choosy. Something that's not supposed to happen won't. There's nothing to say that the artifical mutation made is safe. There's a good chance that it is. I've been saying this the whole time. I never came on here and said " GMO crops are not safe and will cause cancer." I said "GMO crops might not be safe and may cause cancer." At this point, we don't know, so in the mean time, why is a person or industry being blasted for #1, Quite possibly being safer, and #2 Taking full advantage of capitalism.
