Nice to see the 6000 pics, thanks. We had a Commander 6000 as our primary tractor back in the late 60s / early 70s. Loved that SOS transmission, ours was solid, never failed, even with teenage boys beating on it all the time.

It looked so fornlorn amongst the lineup of newer equipment. But it was just the right size for my small farm. I stopped in and asked the proprietor for further information.
