Oh the rememberies that you just brought back! I remember waking in the morning during the fifties. hearing Eddy Arnold on the radio. Lotta "Hanks" Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Hank Thompson, Kitty Wells, etc, etc. Then We discovered "Rock and Roll". When I got old enough to drive, my friends and I would listen to R&R while crusin' town, but when I was alone in the car, I would often tune the radio to country. If it was Saturday night, I would listen to the Grand Old Opry. Never had a radio on a tractor, couldn't have heard it over the noise of the engine anyway.
