In 1958 or '59 I spent the summer de-tassleing corn and rode from my hometown to the next town with the ag teacher to go to work every morning at 5. He would pick me and a couple others up at the city hall steps about 4:40 am. He had a new '58 impala with the 348 and a radio. Johnny Cash had a hit on the top 40 called 'Peggy Too' so they played it alot. Seems like we listened to it every morning on our ride to work - 2-lane blacktop, cool morning sunshine and field after field of maturing corn flying by as the Impala made tracks, eastbound and down - doesn't get any better than that for me! :D
