Sometimes if you snoop around you can find a good deal. We have a gas powered 4 GPM 4000PSI Black and Decker that we picked up used with 20 hours on the clock for $275. It has a Cat pump and I forget the engine name but I was told by a small engines man it is the commercial version. The new gas engines seem to be good starters and this one hasn't let us down yet after three years of washing trucks. One nice thing about a gasser is you can throttle it back if you don't want quite as much pressure and flow. The portability is a given. A pressure washer dealer found me a used heater for $150 that supposedly had been gone through at his shop. The shop we use it in only has 120 volt service (so far) so this gas powered one fits the bill just right for us. One downfall to a gas powered one that we don't think about is the neighbors can borrow it but that hasn't been a problem yet. Jim
