Re earlier post, Starter locked up on my Farmall 400. I took it apart and found one of the bolts that holds the spring had come out and locked against the nose cone. It was a aluminum, fine thread bolt. I remembered I had a can of leftover fine thread bolts from another project, so I dug thru it and found one the right size. Cleaned up the threads on the wire wheel, cut it to length and put it back together with some red locktight on the threads. The tab on the keeper broke off when I tried to lock it, but it's working now. Chris
