Well unless yours is unlisted then it's in the phone book. They can get all the phone numbers they want right in the phone book. I'm not talking cell phones, I'm talking land lines. I got 50% scammers when using e-mail , ZERO scam and ZERO problems when using phone number. The buyers I have dealt with have all been phone one on one type people. Some don't even have computers and have had a relative do CL search for them and they do the follow up...by phone .Works for them and works for me. You do what works for you.
