Used to change alot of them. Jack the motor up as high as possible, slide the tranny back, loosen the oil pan, unbolt the oil pickup, drop it in the pan. Slide the pan out. Reverse install. If it all goes right, it's an eight hour job. Did this while working for Laidlaw. They were a contract bid company. Parts came right off the bottom line of profits....tax payers saw no change in rates as a result.
