Buzzman, as someone mentioned, check all the ground cables and make sure they are clean and tight. Also, check the starter cable where it connects to the starter. Vibration can cause the cable end or eylet to work loose and cause intermittent problems. I saw that happen many times when I worked at a dealership. In other words, try to eliminate as many possibilities as you can before you take it to a shop. Nine times out of ten if you mention what you THINK may be wrong, you will pay for that repair, plus whatever else they find. (Know what I mean?)
