I would LIKE to start planting in a month here in my part of NW Iowa but if we don't start getting warmer weather soon the soil will be too cold. We haven't hardly had any snow this winter, maybe 12"-16" total that came in small amounts, then melted away soon after it came down. Very few puddles out there, but deep frost. If it doesn't start raining soon the fields will be dry enough to work before the frost goes out but the soil will be too cold. I have to seed some waterways soon as I can, but they can be seeded cold. Jim
