A few years ago there was a group of people from the southern states that came up here with dogs and either mules or donkeys to coon hunt. They Had no regard for fences, property lines, land owners, or the laws in this state. After spending two days gathering cattle and fixing fences we told the sheriff who warned the people they were trespassing. That night we were waiting by the creek and shot their dogs when they started running onto my property. At that point the dogs were considered wild as the owner couldn't control them. The next morning the sheriff read them the law and they left. It might be considered great sport but do it on your own property, cut your own fence and chase your own cattle. This happened in the late 60s.
