Just to show how screwed up things have gotten, we have got people in one of the counties here in Iowa crying to the state gaming commission to allow them to have another casino. They say it will add 325 jobs to the work force!! We have at least a half dozen already and the only thing the gaming commission is worried about is it taking money from another casino!! I don't reckon any one stopped to think about the millions of dollars pi$$ed away in a casino that now does not get spent in the local economy and the job creation money isn't even close to that. It goes to the casino owners and the state, who turns around and supposedly helps different entities in the state and for gambling addiction. Bizarre! The casino folks are not there because they like you and have your best interest at heart.
